What to Do and See?
Stroll Across the Suspension Bridge
Between towering mountains, rivers wind their way through, and ancient wooden and iron bridges have been built to cross the waterways and lead to small villages on the far side. Every day, hourly, the town's inhabitants traverse these spans carrying goods. This place proves to be an ideal setting for capturing photographs and preserving memories of urban life intertwined with nature. As you cross these bridges, embrace the thrill of height while maintaining your balance. Rest assured, the experience is perfectly safe.
Visit the Wat
At the heart of this community, a modest temple adds a distinctive splash of color. Despite their modest scale, the temples, known as "Wat," always merit a visit for their unique architectural design. Take time to explore them, meditate, and find inner peace.

Life here is simple and inhabitants are always cheerful and welcoming to visitors. Make the most of your time for hikes and capturing beautiful photographs.
Partake in Local Activities
Upon arrival, you'll notice that residents depend primarily on agriculture. Small gardens and livestock enclosures dot the mountainside and riverbanks. Watch locals engage in harvesting and cultivation using simple tools and their hands. If you wish, feel free to join them for fishing or offer a friendly hand. Simply ask these welcoming people to experience something entirely new.
Savor Laotian Cuisine
Laotian cuisine offers unique dishes distinctive to the mountainous region, such as insects (grasshoppers, fried halva, grilled bamboo mice, etc.). If these more unusual dishes don't appeal, opt for classics like noodle soup, rice, or other products available in local shops.
